On the first Sunday of 2009 we went for a walk on the beach at Crawfordsburn Country Park. The park has 2 miles of coastline, a deep wooded glen and a waterfall. The area was part of Bangor Monastery between the 6th and 12th Centuries and was probably partly farmed. We, however, stayed on the beach this time and look forward to many Sundays in the park when the weather is maybe a bit warmer and Guinness can walk a bit further. |
